Vignesh Shivn directs a song for RJ Balaji's LKG

Popular RJ-turned-actor Balaji is currently playing the lead in an upcoming political comedy, titled, LKG, for which the actor himself has written the script. The film, also starring Priya Anand and politician Nanjil Sampath, is directed by newcomer Prabhu.

Now, the latest update about the project is that popular director Vignesh Shivn, who has penned the lyrics along with Vivek, has directed a song for the film in New Delhi. The song was shot in several important landmarks in the capital city including the Parliament, Janpath Road, Rajpath Road, and India Gate.

RJ Balaji took to Twitter to announce this exciting development. "The man, who directed the mighty Surya sir, Simbu, VS and SK, has written and directed a song for me in LKG. Thank you VigneshShivN for doing what you did for our friendship. Thank you for all the love, positivity and creativity. Means a lot. #NanbaneDa," he tweeted. 

LKG has a strong technical team on board, with Leon James handling the music, Meyaadha Maan-fame Vidhu in charge of cinematography, and Anthony on board as the editor. The film, produced by Ishari K Ganesh, is expected to get a release in the summer of 2019.
