K.G.F: Chapter 1 to be released in 2,000 screens across the country

Distributors in Karnataka have reported that the film is expected to be screened in more than 350 theatres in the state

In less than a week, K.G.F: Chapter 1 will hit silver screens across the country and the advance bookings of the film are set to begin this Sunday. 

KGF, starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead, is directed by Prashant Neel under the Hombale Films. The film has managed to create a huge buzz across the country, and going by the current numbers, the film is likely to be released in 1,800 to 2,000 theatres across India. 

Distributors in Karnataka have reported that the film is expected to be screened in more than 350 theatres in the state. A few theatres in Karnataka will also screen the movie in other languages, like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. The Telugu version of KGF, distributed by Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, is expected to be released in around 350 theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. 

Vishal Factory Films will be releasing the Tamil version in around 150 theatres across Tamil Nadu. In Kerala, Global United Media is releasing the Malayalam version in approximately 75 theatres. And the Hindi version of KGF, distributed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, is forecasted to be screened in around 1,000 theatres.
