After the success of the zombie-thriller Miruthan, directed by Shakthi Soundarrajan and starring Jayam Ravi, Tamil cinema is set to have its second zombie film. Titled Zombie, the film will star Yogi Babu in an important role. Touted to be an adventure comedy, Zombie also stars Bigg Boss-fame Yashika Aannand. While Yogi Babu is said to play a don, Yashika will appear in the role of a medical college student in this film, which takes place over the period of a single night. 

Directed by Bhuvan R Nullan, who earlier directed the horror-comedy Mo, the film is set to go on floors soon. With music by Premgi Amaren, whose songs from Venkat Prabhu's Party have received praise from all quarters, Zombie stars YouTube sensations Gopi and Sudhakar, TM Karthik, Manobala and Antony Dasan in important roles.
