Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi's 'romantic entertainer', Padi Padi Leche Manasu, shot predominantly in Kolkata, Nepal and Hyderabad, will clash with director Sankalp Reddy's space drama, Anthariksham 9000 KMPH on December 21. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is set against the backdrop of the April 2015 Nepal earthquake that wrecked buildings, killed at least 9,000 people, and injured nearly 22,000.

The film features Sharwa as a football player and Pallavi as a doctor, who suffers memory loss due to a head injury in the dreaded earthquake. “Pallavi doesn’t retain memories that happened before the accident. Sharwa, who falls in love with Pallavi, tries to restore her memories and persuades her to fall in love with him, all over again. The film has a light-hearted tone with a bittersweet romance between the lead pair. The shooting has been completed and the post-production is in the last leg,” says a source.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, Padi Padi Leche Manasu, also featuring Sunil and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles, has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The film’s theatrical trailer will be unveiled on December 14.
