Amitabh Bachchan begins shooting in Nagpur for Nagraj Manjule's Jhund

Nagraj Manjule's directorial debut in Hindi cinema is reportedly based on the life of Vijay Barse, who is the founder of Slum Soccers

Amitabh Bachchan has started shooting for his upcoming film Jhund in Nagpur. On Monday evening, the veteran actor took to Twitter and shared a few photographs of himself reaching Nagpur for the shooting.

Marathi filmmaker Nagraj Manjule is making his Bollywood debut with Jhund. The film is reportedly based on the life of Vijay Barse, who is the founder of Slum Soccers. Amitabh plays the role of a professor who helps the street children build a soccer team.

Amitabh, who was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan, will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's Badla along with Taapsee Pannu.
