Lyca Productions says 2.0 grosses Rs 400 crore worldwide

The Hindi version of the film alone has grossed 97.25 crore, Thursday through Sunday

2.0, India's most expensive film, has grossed Rs 400 crore worldwide, according to the film's production company, Lyca Productions. The Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar-starrer was released on November 29 across Tamil, Telugu and Hindi worldwide. In the ensuing four days, Thursday through Sunday, the film has made upto 400 crore, with close to a 100 crore coming from the Hindi business alone.

Lyca Productions took to twitter to share the news.

Head of the film's Hindi distributors, Dharma Productions, Karan Johar also tweeted about how proud they were to have collaborated with director Shankar.

2.0 is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 600 crore and with the film already recovering two thirds of its cost, it remains to be seen how far this juggernaut will roll on.
