We had already told you that Bobby Simha and Parvatii Nair will be playing the lead roles in a web series bankrolled by SR Prabhu under his banner Dream Warrior Pictures for Amazon Prime Video. The streaming platform revealed the name of the series as Vella Raja today, and shared a teaser. The first Tamil Amazon Original has also been dubbed into Hindi and Telugu.

About the series directed by Sawaari-fame Guhan Senniappan, SR Prabhu says, "It has always been our effort to provide quality entertainment. Like always, we have delved deep into each character, establishing their back-stories and building a complex, grim, dark drug world with undertones of humour." 

Also starring Gayathrie Shankar and Kaali Venkat, Vella Raja is set in the heart of North Chennai. The series will be launched in all three languages on December 7.
