Midhun Manuel Thomas has cast Kalidas Jayaram in his next titled Argentina Fans Kattoorkadavu. Aishwarya Lekshmi has been roped in as the female lead. The news was announced by Midhun and the film's producer Ashiq Usman.

This is the first time that the two actors are collaborating with the filmmaker. Gopi Sundar will be handling the music, Lijo Paul the editing, and Renadive the cinematography of the film. In addition to this project, Midhun also has Aadu 3 and Kottayam Kunjachan 2 lined up. 

Kalidas was last seen in Abrid Shine's Poomaram. His next Malayalam film is with Jeethu Joseph. Aishwarya Lekshmi will next be seen with Fahadh Faasil in Amal Neerad's Varathan. The film is all set for a September release.
