Amitabh Bachchan is all set to make his Tamil debut in the film Uyarndha Manidhan that also stars SJ Suryah as the other lead. Directed by Tha Tamilvaanan, the Tamil-Hindi bilingual is produced by K Suresh Kannan of Thiruchendur Murugan Productions in association with Five Elements pictures. The director says directing Amitabh is a dream-come-true. Thanking Suryah for the opportunity, Tamilvaanan adds, "Amitabh sir's iconic presence adds an unparalleled attraction to our project. My dream of directing Big B sir coming true through SJ Suryah sir."

Talking about working with the veteran actor, Suryah says, "Even before I ventured into showbiz as an assistant director, I craved a chance to work with him. So it's thrilling to finally work with him, but at the same time, it also makes me nervous that I am going to share screen space with him."

While the shooting of this film will commence in March 2019, the details about the rest of the cast and crew will be announced shortly.
