Pooja Hegde has made a name for herself with films like Mukunda, DJ and Saakshyam. The Mumbai-girl, who is steadfastly making her strides in the Telugu industry with a handful of big-ticket films including Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, Maharshi and an untitled film with Prabhas, is fond of the language and is honing her skills in it.

“Pooja has been concentrating on learning Telugu and has been striving to master in it without any formal training. Instead, she has asked her staff to speak to her in Telugu and started greeting everyone on her film sets saying Bagunnara, tinnara, etc. She is planning to give a full-Telugu speech at the audio release of her upcoming film Aravinda Sametha and also promote all her films in the local language. She wants to show her connect with the place and the people, who have been showering their love on her for some years now,” reveals a source.
