According to sources, Aditi Rao Hydari, who made her Tamil debut with Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai, has been signed to play the female lead in Mysskin's yet-to-be-titled film, starring Udhayanithi Stalin. The film, supposedly a Mysskin-style horror thriller, was initially planned with Shanthanu and Nithya Menen, but due to financial constraints, the project was dropped.

In addition to the two leads, director Ram is said to be playing an intense cop in the film, for which the filmmaker reportedly sports a clean-shaven look. While PC Sreeram is expected to handle the cinematography, the other cast and crew members are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi's rural drama, Kanne Kalaimaane, directed by Seenu Ramasamy, is gearing up for a theatrical release in October. Aditi, on the other hand, is awaiting her next Tamil release, Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, this September.
