Arunraja Kamaraja's directorial debut Kanaa, made under actor Sivakarthikeyan's banner, has been making all the right noises since its launch. The latest update about this venture is that Sivakarthikeyan and his daughter, Aaradhanaa have sung a song in the film.

Kanaa, which revolves around women's cricket, stars Aishwarya Rajesh as an aspiring cricketer and Sathyaraj as her father.

After making his playback singing debut in Varuthapadaadha Valibar Sangam, Sivakarthikeyan went on to sing in three more of his films - Maan Karate, Rajini Murugan and Kaaki Sattai. He also sang a number in Vemal's Mapla Singam, his first song for another actor.

A Dhibu Ninan Thomas-musical, Kanaa's audio is set to be launched on 23 August by leading Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana. The other chief guests at the event will be music directors Anirudh Ravichander, D Imman and filmmaker Pandiraj.
