A new poster featuring Balakrishna from his upcoming film NTR, a biopic on legendary actor-turned-politician NT Rama Rao was released by the filmmakers earlier today, and has gone viral as anticipated.

Much to the surprise of his fans, the 58-year-old actor, who plays the titular role, looks like a replica of his father with an unbelievable transformation. The resemblances are so uncanny that movie buffs were wondering whether it's the reincarnation of NTR or Balayya in the poster.

Directed by Krish, the film boasts of a stellar star cast from across industries including Vidya Balan, Rana Daggubati, Manjima Mohan, Prakash Raj, Kaikala Satyanarayana and Ravi Kishan, among others. The film, produced jointly by Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati, is currently is progressing at a rapid pace in Hyderabad.

MM Keeravani has been roped in to score the music for the film, which is slated for a Sankranti 2019 release.
