Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar has been signed to play an important role in Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming sci-fi film directed by Indru Netru Naalai-fame Ravikumar. The producers of the film, 24 AM Studios, took to social media to announce this latest development.

Just like the multifaceted Sivakarthikeyan, Sharad too has donned many hats in his career ranging from roles in television serials to anchoring and voice acting. The voice of Prabhas in the Hindi versions of the Baahubali franchise, Sharad will be making his Tamil debut with this yet-to-be-titled film.

While Sharad works in Hindi and Marathi predominantly, he made his Telugu debut in 2016 with the Pawan Kalyan-starrer Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

Touted to be Sivakarthikeyan's most expensive project to date, the untitled film has music by AR Rahman and features Rakul Preet as the female lead.
