Preethi Asrani, last seen in Malli Raava, has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Naga Shaurya’s new film being helmed by Raja Kolusu. Initially, the makers considered several actors including Shalini Pandey for this role, but Preethi has been finalised.

Touted to be a rom-com, the first schedule of the film, also starring Eesha Rebba, commenced on August 9 in Hyderabad.

“Preethi plays Eesha’s sister in the film and it’s an altogether different avatar from what we have seen in her earlier films. She will start shooting for her portions shortly,” says Raja Kolusu, adding, “The ongoing schedule will continue until August 23 in popular suburbs of the city. We are planning to shoot the second schedule in Munnar in early September and complete the shoot by November.”
