Nandita Swetha has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Sumanth Ashwin in Prema Katha Chitram 2. Touted to be the sequel to 2013’s horror-comedy Prema Katha Chitram, the film marks the debut of Harikishan as the director.

“The second schedule commenced earlier this month and Nandita will start shooting for her portions on August 10, a day after the release of her upcoming film Srinivasa Kalyanam. She plays the female lead and her characterisation is going to spring a surprise. Siddhi Idnani of Jamba Lakidi Pamba fame will be playing the second the second lead. This schedule will go on until this month end followed by the next schedule in September. The shoot will be wrapped up by October and we are hoping to release the film during the end of this year,” says producer R Sudarshan Reddy.
