Kamal Haasan, whose Vishwaroopam 2 is hitting the theatres this Friday, is currently vigorously promoting the film across India. The actor, who is also hosting Bigg Boss Tamil simultaneously, is expected to start shooting for his next, Indian 2, as soon as the reality show gets over. 

In a recent interaction with media during the promotions of Vishwaroopam 2, Kamal revealed that Ajay Devgn will most likely be a part of Indian 2. Asked about the latter being cast in the second instalment of the franchise, Kamal said, "That was what I was told, but it is the director's call." It was earlier speculated that the Raid actor was part of the project, and Kamal's confirmation makes it more certain now. 

Directed by Shankar, who also helmed the first part, the film has dialogues by Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairmuthu and Lakshmi Saravanakumar. The rest of the cast and crew of the film, bankrolled by Lyca Productions, are yet to be announced.
