Suriya's 37th film, directed by KV Anand, went on floors in London almost a month ago. Recently, the first schedule of the film, involving portions featuring Mohanlal, Boman Irani, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani, and Arya, was wrapped up.

Now, it's learnt that Super Singer 6 winner Senthil Ganesh has sung the opening song for Suriya in the film, with music by Harris Jayaraj. Lyricist GnanaKaravel, who has earlier worked in films like Kirumi and Thoonga Nagaram, has penned this song.

Senthil Ganesh, known for his exuberant folk songs, is also expected to be offered the opportunity to sing an AR Rahman composition as a part of his prestigious Super Singer 6 title. In addition, he has recently sung a track for Sivakarthikeyan's Seemaraja with D Imman's music, after the latter promised to launch the singer in his film. Also, Senthil Ganesh, along with his wife Rajalakshmi, is said to have sung a duet in the Prabhudheva-starrer Charlie Chaplin 2.

Produced by Lyca Productions, Suriya 37 marks the third association of Suriya, KV Anand and Harris Jayaraj.
