Allu Aravind claims knowledge of a larger conspiracy against his son-actor Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Naa Peru Surya – Naa Illu India behind the recent outbreak of controversies in the film industry. The veteran producer has alleged that several people are plotting to ruin the prospects of the Allu Arjun-starrer.

“Conspiracy theories are being peddled against Naa Peru Surya (NPS) as part of the recent issues in the industry. Their idea is to ruin the excitement and generate polarised talk about the film. Many things are happening behind the screens, and Bunny, I will explain to you about them later as I know you are clueless of these developments,” said Aravind at the pre-release gig of Naa Peru Surya.

He expressed confidence that fans will counter such biased attempts. “Amidst all these happenings, I’m sure that you (fans) will defy such attempts to hurt our film.”

Aravind’s comments come after the recent closed-door meeting of leading actors of the Telugu film industry, presided over by Chiranjeevi at a popular studio. Reportedly, they discussed the controversies involving Sri Reddy and Pawan Kalyan and word is that they have decided to impose a blanket ban on a section of news channels from May 2 onwards.

Meanwhile, NPS, which marks the debut of writer Vakkantham Vamsi, is gearing up for release on May 4. Also starring Anu Emmanuel, Arjun Sarja and Nadhiya, the film has music by Bollywood duo Vishal– Shekhar.
