Ajith's Viswasam was originally expected to go on floors in March on the sets constructed at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. On the account of the TFPC strikes, the filming got postponed, and now, we hear, the film will start rolling from the first week of May, post the actor's birthday, at the same place.

According to a source, the team is busy replicating the North Chennai locations in which a majority of the portions will be set.

The makers had planned to release the film for Diwali, but it looks like it will be pushed back to another date. However, official confirmation is awaited.

Imman has composed two songs already for the film produced by Sathya Jyoti Films and starring Nayanthara as the female lead. Viswasam will see Ajith sporting black hair after his salt-and-pepper look in all three of his previous collaborations with Siva -- Veeram, Vivegam and Vedhalam.
