The audio release of Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya – Naa Illu India was a gala affair with thousands of fans gathering to get a glimpse of the actor. The event was a tribute to the soldiers of the Indian Army as it was held at Military Madhavaram, a village in AP, which has a man in the army from every household.

Speaking about his role in the Vakkantham Vamsi-directorial, the actor said, “What I admire the most about this character is his commitment to the society. Our Army’s co-operation during the shoot was remarkable.” He also affirmed the unity among mega heroes. “We are always one. We have become stronger over the years.”

Taking a jibe at the television channels for blowing the Sri Reddy-Pawan Kalyan issue out of proportion, Allu Arjun said, “Some people have personally targeted Pawan Kalyan. It’s not only the mistake of the people who speak against Pawan, but also those who influenced them. It’s really unfortunate and upsetting to see such things.”

Allu Arjun was all praise for the Gabbar Singh star for quitting acting and taking a political plunge for the sake of people. “Heroes always lead a comfortable yet happy life. A few enter politics at the end of their career but, Pawan Kalyan made a point by giving up on acting when he is being hailed as the numero uno hero,” said Allu Arjun.

Produced by Bunny Vaas and Lagadapati Sridhar, Naa Peru Surya – Naa Illu India releases on May 4.
