The filming of debutant Sunil Hanif's Muhammadum Albiyum Shatrukkalaaya Katha (MASK), which began on April 5 in Ernakulam, is currently progressing in a few locations around Kochi. The film is expected to be a fun entertainer and features Shine Tom Chacko and Chemban Vinod Jose in the lead. 

Shine plays the role of a professional thief who is involved in a few bank heists and robberies. Chemban plays a cop who has been trying to nail him. The two last worked together on Varnyathil Ashanka

Hanif, a former ad filmmaker, is among the new crop of ad makers-turned-directors hoping to make a mark in the industry.

MASK has cinematography is by Prakash Velayudhan (Oru Mexican Aparatha) and music by Gopi Sunder.
