The Kannada industry knows her by Apoorva, a name given by Ravichandran, with whom she debuted in the film, in the title role that bore the same name.

Two years, after the film's release, she is back to sharing screen-space with the Crazy Star in his upcoming directorial, Rajendra Ponnappa. The film also sees Radhika Kumaraswamy, who is paired opposite Ravichandran, who apart from direction is also the writer of Rajendra Ponnappa and is also producing the film under Eshwari Productions.

He is also playing the lead in the movie and composing its music. The project now in the shooting process has Apoorva joining the sets in a week or ten days," says our source. The one-film-old heroine gets to play an interesting role of a lawyer along with Ravichandran, who will also be seen as a lawyer in the film.

Though they were rumours abuzz that Apoorva was not acting anymore, she was actually preparing herself, and was waiting to have her hands on the right project. Our source tells us that Apoorva, considers Ravichandran as her teacher and Godfather and when the actor-director and producer approached her for the role, she had no second thoughts, and immediately accepted the role.

It will be interesting to see the young actor back to face the arclights. More details can be known, once Ravichandran plans to throw more light on the film and its cast.
