Fresh from the success of Sathya, Sibi Sathyaraj has joined hands with producer SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures for a film that’ll be helmed by director Kamalakannan who made Madhubaanakadai. Said to be a story set in Coimbatore, the untitled project apparently took two years to pen down. A source close to the film says, “It will have elements from various genres, including action and comedy. Apart from the producer, director, and Sibi of course, the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. The shooting will start once the strike gets called off.”

While Sibi’s next will be Ranga, SR Prabhu is producing Suriya - Selvaraghavan’s upcoming film, NGK.
