Prashant Raj is at Shirdi to seek divine blessings as he waits for the release of his film, Dalapathi, which will be out in theatres this week. “I have sought blessing from the almighty for every film of mine and will continue to do so,” says the director.

The film has taken a long time to make. Prashant says, “We got to know the value of dates and schedules through this film.”

Considering that the audience have given a thumbs up to Prashant’s previous films, we asked him what cinegoers should expect from Dalapathi. “The audience would have seen many love stories, but my film, although a love story, has been narrated in a different way. It is a one-of-a-kind film that will resonate with every member of the family,” says Prashant, adding, “Whatever I tell now will not do justice to why I titled my film Dalapathi. It is best for people to analyse the film themselves.”

The film, starring Prem and Kriti Kharbanda, has music by Charan Raj and cinematography by Girish.
