Filming of Nine, Prithviraj's maiden venture under his new production company, Prithviraj Productions, is set to begin tomorrow. The film, which is touted to be a science fiction thriller, is scripted and directed by Jenuse Mohamed, and has music by Shaan Rahman.

The title and first look poster of the film was released recently. The project is a joint venture of Prithviraj Productions and Sony Pictures International. This is Sony Pictures' first regional production.

There are rumours that Prithviraj will play a scientist in the film and that it's a remake of the Spanish film Timecrimes. But none of this has been confirmed by the director. The details of the project are currently being kept under wraps.
