The first look poster of Malayalam superstar Mammootty's Telugu comeback film, Yatra, a biopic of the late Andhra Pradesh politician and two-time Chief Minister, YS Rajashekhar Reddy, was released recently. The poster was leaked online, forcing the makers to officially release it ahead of schedule. The actor himself shared it on his newly created Instagram account. The poster's caption reads, "He wanted to leave a footprint in history; instead, he left one in the hearts of the people."

Directed by Mahi V Raghav of Anandho Brahma fame, Yatra will also have characters based on YSR’s immediate family and friends. Interestingly, it is said that Mammootty will dub in Telugu for the film which marks his return to the industry after 20 years. The film, which will also be dubbed in Tamil, is to be shot predominantly in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh. Produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy, Yatra will go on the floors this month and will be released by the beginning of 2019.
