As we had reported earlier, Saamy Square, the sequel to Vikram and Hari's 2003 cop film Saamy, has Bobby Simha, OAK Sundar and John Vijay playing the antagonists. It's now known that Bobby Simha, who plays one of the sons of Perumal Pichai, will be seen in three different looks. From the photos that have made their way to the internet, it's speculated that the film will have a flashback portion. Vikram will be playing Aarusaamy as well as his son Ramasaamy, and the latter will apparently face off with the villains in a story that's set 29 years after the happenings of Saamy.

Extensively shot in and around Delhi, Jaisalmer and Yercaud, the film also stars Prabhu and Soori, along with Keerthy Suresh. Produced by Shibu Thameens, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by A Venkatesh.
