Director Ravikumar's sci-fi project featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead is currently in the pre-production stage. It has been confirmed that Karunakaran will also be a part of the film.

We hear the actor has been roped in to play a crucial role like the one he portrayed in the filmmaker's previous film, Indru Netru Naalai. But it's not known if it will be a comical role, because reliable sources say that the team is in talks with another comedian. Karunakaran was unavailable for comment.
