Kurangu Bommai to be remade in Telugu

The film, directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, starred Vidharth and Bharathiraaja in the Tamil version

The makers of Vidharth-starrer Kurangu Bommai have announced that the film will soon be remade in Telugu. According to a press release, it has been confirmed that the remake rights have been acquired by S Focuss. Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, Kurangu Bommai also features filmmaker Bharathiraaja in a pivotal role.

The press release went on to say, "Good cinema has no linguistic barriers. The makers are confident that the Telugu trade circles as well as the Telugu audience will give immense support to the film."

S Focuss is currently bankrolling GV Prakash Kumar's Kuppathu Raja.
