Gautam Rode nervous about audience response

The actor says his character in the forthcoming Aksar 2 is one with grey shades, and so, he's nervous about how the audience will respond to the role

Gautam Rode says his character in the forthcoming Aksar 2 is one with grey shades, and so, he expresses nervousness at how the audience will respond to the role. In his upcoming suspense thriller, Gautam, known for shows like Saraswatichandra and Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, does not play the quintessential bad guy.

"The character I play is complex. I explored a character that is far from any other that I have played. That is what excited me the most when the script was narrated to me," Gautam said in a statement. "The audience has always seen me play a righteous boy. I can’t wait to see how they respond to this role," he added.

Presented by Siddhivinayak Creations, Aksar 2 is produced by Narendra Bajaj, Varun Bajaj and Chirag Bajaj. The film by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan also stars Zareen Khan, Mohit Madaan, Lillete Dubey and Sreesanth, and is slated for release on October 6.
