The industry has been abuzz that director Ram was in talks with Vikram for a film. When CE contacted the filmmaker, he says this are untrue. "I really don't know where these rumours come from," he adds.

After Taramani, Ram is not working on any new script, but instead is looking to release his next, Peranbu with Mammootty.

"Post-production work is on, and the songs have come out well. As with all my films, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this also. Even when I announce my next, it will have Yuvan doing the background score and music," he says.

Peranbu revolves around the story of a family man, who rediscovers himself after an accident. "The film talks about a father-daughter relationship and human emotions," he adds.
