Rumours were abuzz that Thiagarajan Kumararaja's film with Vijay Sethupathi was titled Aneethi Kathaigal. Now, it has been revealed that it's named Super Deluxe. A source close to the film unit says Vijay Sethupathi plays a character called Shilpa, although it's not clear if he is playing a transgender person. CE also learns that the film has Nadiya, Fahadh Faasil, Mysskin, Samantha, and Gayathrie Shankar in important roles. 

Said to be an anthology, Super Deluxe has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and has been co-written by Nalan Kumarasamy, Neelan Shankar, Mysskin and Kumararaja himself. PC Sreeram was supposed to be the cinematographer, but got eventually replaced by PS Vinodh and Nirav Shah.
