Express Features

The makers of Vanangamudi recently completed a schedule in Tuticorin, where a song was shot at the harbour there. Directed by Selva, the song was choreographed by Sridhar, and featured many junior artistes.

The second schedule of the film will start from the middle of November in Kodaikanal, where important portions, including an edge-of-the-seat chasing sequence and a song, will be filmed. Following this shoot in Kodaikanal, a five-day schedule in the first week of December in Chennai will wrap up the entire shoot.

Vanangamudi will trace the life of a no-nonsense police officer. The film, starring Arvind Swami, Ritika Singh, Nandita, and Chandini Tamilarasan in the lead, also features Simran and Ganesh Venkatraman in supporting roles.
