Koothan, a dance-based musical film directed by Venky AL, with debutant Rajkumar in the lead, and produced by Nilgirs Dream Entertainment, has signed on T Rajhendherr for the single, Monkistha Kinkistha.

The music director Balz G recalls, “When we first approached him for the song, he said no. But once he heard the tune, he was happy and told us that the tune and the lyrics are so catchy that it would be a hit irrespective of who sang it. However, I told him that if TR sir did not sing it, we wouldn’t consider recording it with someone else.”

He then apparently relented, and after finishing recording for the song, he reportedly told the crew that he didn’t feel like he had sung a song, but had ‘acted in front of the microphone.’ The crew of Koothan is convinced that the song will go viral.
