Veteran actress Jaya Prada, who has been away from Telugu cinema since 2007, is making a comeback in a brand new avatar with Suvarna Sundari. She will be seen as actress Poorna's daughter in the historical drama directed by debutant Surya. 

“Jaya Prada’s role is one that connects the past and the future. The story is also about the emotional chord that binds a mother with her daughter," says the director. "She has also pulled off some action sequences without a body double,” he adds. Replete with special effects, the film, produced by MS Lakshmi is slated for release in mid-November.
