After Malayalam, Dhanush eyes the Kannada industry

The actor is reportedly producing a film starring Rishi of Operation Alamelamma fame

Dhanush recently announced that he'd be producing the Malayalam film, Tharangam, starring Tovino Thomas, who is set to debut in Tamil cinema as the villain in Dhanush's Maari 2. Now, the star is reportedly planning to step into the Kannada industry as well. Sources state that Dhanush is going to produce a Kannada film under his banner, Wunderbar Films, in association with Kannada producer Jacob Varghese.

This film is said to star Rishi of Operation Alamelamma fame and will likely be directed by ad filmmaker Islahuddin. This news comes just after Dhanush confirmed his debut in Kannada cinema as a singer for the film, Vajrakaya, starring Shivarajkumar. The actor is also producing Rajinikanth's Kaala.
