We all know that Dhyan Sreenivasan will be playing the lead in Thomas Sebastian's next Goodalochana. The entertainer, the screenplay of which was written by Dhyan himself, will have Mamta Mohandas in an extended cameo. Now, the director has told us that Mamta will be playing an art curator in the movie.

"Her character appears only in the second half. It is a very prominent role and we needed someone who can handle it with elan. That's how Mamta was selected. Though a cameo, her character Padma is very instrumental in the story," says Thomas Sebastian.

According to the director, art and artists form a major part of the movie. "Aju's character is an artist in the movie. He is a painter and the team meets Mamta's character. Though it is a fun movie, Goodalochana has a strong artistic angle as well," he says.

Besides Dhyan and Aju, the film has Sreenath Bhasi in a prominent role. Niranjana Anoop plays the female lead. "The narrative revolves around a group of friends. However, there is no strong romantic thread," says Thomas.

The movie is likely to hit the screens in the first week of November.
