Aparna Balamurali signs Rajiv Menon’s film

The film is directed by Rajiv Menon and stars GV Prakash in the lead

The Rajiv Menon-directorial Sarvam Thaala Mayam, starring GV Prakash, went on the floors on Wednesday in Chennai. The latest update is that Malayalam actor Aparna Balamurali, who was a part of this year’s hit film 8 Thottakkal, has been roped in as the film’s heroine.

Talking about the film, the young actor says, “Rajiv sir had watched one of my Malayalam films, Maheshinte Prathikaaram, and called me for auditions. The film, as the title reveals, is based on music.”

Sarvam Thaala Mayam has a strong cast which includes Nedumudi Venu, Kumaravel of Kurangu Bommai fame and Athira.

Ravi Yadav is handling the cinematography, while Antony is the editor. AR Rahman is composing the music for this film and GV Prakash is collaborating with Rahman, his uncle, for the first time as an actor.
