Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, who is presently shooting for Agnathavaasi, is all set to work on a quick project soon. It's almost confirmed that the Gabbar Singh star is going to act in the Telugu remake of the Vijay-starrer Theri. Mythri Movie Makers, who earlier produced blockbuster hits like Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage will shepherd this project to be directed by Santosh Srinivas.

The shooting of the film will commence in March 2018, and Pawan wants to complete the proceedings in two months. “The crew will shoot the film in a single uninterrupted schedule as Pawan has decided to take a political plunge soon. So, he's given a 45-day call sheet and requested the makers to plan things accordingly,” reveals a source.

Meanwhile, Santosh has completed the script work and will soon meet Pawan for the final narration. Two leading actors are in talks to reprise the roles played by Samantha and Amy Jackson in the original. An official announcement is awaited.
