Namitha Babu, the singer who made her debut with the song Alunguren kulunguren from Sandiveeran, has sung three songs in the upcoming film Veeraiyan. The film, starring Inigo Prabhakar and Vela Ramamoorthy, is all set to release on Friday.

Talking about her journey so far, the singer says, "It all started with Sandiveeran and then I was offered a chance in Thirunaal. After that, Ghibran sir gave me a nice platform in Magalir Mattum, in which I sang two songs. It got me a lot of appreciation and recognition." Namitha has also sung in the Telugu version of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, Kaakhi. "I would like to continue this streak. Being qualified in western classical music gives me a huge advantage when it comes to shifting between genres. I am really looking forward to working with more music directors."
