After recently shooting for a cameo appearance in Vijay Milton's Golisoda 2, Gautham Vasudev Menon has donned the grease paint again for theatre-thespian Michael Muthu's debut feature film titled Theeviram. The film, starring Gokul Anand and Amzath Khan, is produced by Anil Jain and Bharath Sameer Ram under the Super talkies banner.

When CE contacted Michael Muthu to learn more about GVM's role as a National Investigative Agency (NIA) cop, this is what he had to say: "Yes, Gautham will be making a cameo appearance as a special cop in a stand-alone scene. It's an important role because there is a message I am trying to convey there, and when it is someone like him giving that message, it works even better."

The filmmaker also says that his film, which will deal with extremism, is in the final stages of post-production. Theeviram is expected to hit the screens in January 2018.
