After Vetrivizha, another Kamal Haasan film, Meendum Kokila, co-starring Sridevi and Deepa, is getting a digitally remastered release next month.

According to reports, ‘Darwin Movies’ Deva is behind this initiative, and the makers are planning to release the film in approximately 50 theatres in Tamil Nadu.

Originally released in 1981, and directed by GN Rangarajan, the film revolves around the life of a lawyer, and how he pursues an extramarital affair with an aspiring actor. Darwin Movies had also re-released Kamal Haasan’s Sakalakala Vallavan in February this year.
