Producer Hema Rukmani of Thenandal Studios Limited (TSL) took to Twitter to announce her banner's next project with Dhanush. She wrote, "Happy to collaborate with the multitalented D. More details soon." 

As of now, we don't know who will be directing this project. Previously, it was widely speculated that Karthik Subbaraj would team up with Thenandal for a film. However, we will have to wait for official confirmation. When CE tried reaching Karthik for comments, he was unavailable.
