Veteran actor Sridevi's daughter Janhvi, who was speculated to make an entry into Bollywood this year, has now been officially launched by Karan Johar in Dhadak, which had its first look released on Wednesday in the form of posters.

Starring Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khattar as the male lead, the film is expected to be the Hindi remake of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi blockbuster Sairat, since Karan holds the remake rights for the film. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is expected to go on floors from December. Dhadak will be co-produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions.
