Naga Shaurya’s career has been on a downward spiral following a slew of duds. The actor has been struggling to gain a foothold in the industry, and this time he is trying his luck with a love story titled Chalo, being shepherded by his parents Shankar Prasad and Usha Prasad.

Set in the backdrop of a college located in the fictional town Tiruppuram on the Andhra-Tamil Nadu border, the film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

“We are pleased with the response to the title and first look of the film. Venky has presented Shaurya in a new light and we are confident that Chalo will turn out to be a big hit in his career. The shooting has been completed and the post-production formalities are going on in full swing. The teaser will be released on November 18 and the film will land in cinemas on December 29,” says Shankar Prasad.
