Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy to begin in December

The film, based on the life of India’s first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and starring  Chiranjeevi, will go on the floors in the first week of December

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, based on the life of India’s first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, is one of the highly anticipated films in Telugu cinema. According to reports, megastar Chiranjeevi will start shooting for the film in the first week of December.

“The set work depicting the pre-freedom era has been completed under the supervision of Rajeevan at Aluminium factory, Hyderabad. Now that the pre-production is wrapped up, the team wants to begin the principal shooting on December 6. The war scenes involving Chiru and British soldiers will be shot in this schedule,” says a source.

Directed by Surender Reddy, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will be shot predominantly in Hyderabad, Rajasthan, Pollachi and London. Aside from Chiranjeevi, also features Nayanthara, Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathy and Sudeep in pivotal roles.

Ram Charan is bankrolling the project under Konidela Productions banner. AR Rahman will compose the music, while Ratnavelu will be the cinematographer.
