Nishvika signed for Chiranjeevi’s Amma I Love You

Chaitanya’s directorial is set to promote the new talent, an idea backed by producer Yogi Dwarakish

Nishvika Naidu is the new heroine in town and producer Yogi Dwarakish, along with director Chaitanya, who are known to promote young talents, took no time in auditioning her along with few other actors for their upcoming film Amma I Love You. And, the model-turned-actor has been chosen to play the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi Sarja.

She bags her second project even as she is on the sets of her debut Vasu - Naan Pakka Commercial, in which she has been paired opposite Anish Tejeshwar.

Yogi Dwarakish says, “Dwarakish Pictures has always looked to encourage new talent in the industry, and this is what I learnt from my father (Dwarakish). Of course, we auditioned many girls and even had a shortlist. But, considering the availability of their dates and other factors, we decided on Nishvika.”

He says that it is also best to pair a newcomer with an established artiste. “If a film has a debutant hero then it is good to bring in a well-known heroine, but if the hero is well-known then it is better to consider a fresh talent. Chiranjeevi plays the lead in our film, so we were happy to give Nishvika a good break.”

With Sithara on board to play the mother in Amma I Love You, the team of the film inspired by the Tamil hit Pichaikkaran will now finalise the rest of the cast before they start shooting from November 15.
