Priya Bhavani Shankar, who made an impressive debut with Meyaadha Maan, is officially on board for Karthi's project with Pandiraj. The untitled project was launched on Thursday and the makers started shooting in Chennai. The team will next head to Thenkasi for a 40-day schedule.

This is the first time that Karthi is working with Pandiraj. Touted to be a breezy romantic village drama, Sayyeshaa has been roped in as the leading lady, while Soori, Sriman, and Bhanupriya play important roles.

Meanwhile, Priya is also rumoured to be a part of Vijay Sethupathi's Junga and Arulnidhi's next as well.
