Director Hari Santhosh, popularly known as Alemaari Santhu, has generated a lot of interest for his upcoming film Kaalej Kumar, which is to be released this Firday. This is the second film from MR Pictures, a banner promoted by Muthappa Rai,  and it is being produced by L Padmanabha.

The film,  featuring Vikky Varun and Samyukhta Hegde in lead roles, has senior actors Shruti and Ravi Shankar playing parents to the hero. This is not a regular college story and therefore there is much curiosity about the plot, and the trailer drops a hint.

Though the filmmakers remain tightlipped about certain characters, we hear that Ravi Shankar has an interesting role to play, that of a college student. This has been kept as a surprise package in Kaalej Kumar, and we look forward to another interesting character to be played by the fine actor. 

Whether he will take the front row or join the backbenchers is something the fillmmakers will reveal when the movie hits the screens.
